Common Installation Problems:

Could not initialize installation. (CRC) The parameter is incorrect.

    This usually means that the installation file was not completely downloaded, or it was corrupted during the transfer. This error might also mean that a virus on your system has attempted to infect our install file. Please delete the installation file that gave you this error, and redownload the Haptek Player software.



An I/O error occurred while installing a file...

    This usually means that the installation file was not completely downloaded, or it was corrupted during the transfer. This error might also mean that a virus on your system has attempted to infect our install file. Please delete the installation file that gave you this error, and redownload the Haptek Player software.



Could not communicate to the network server...

    A few variations of this error exist, and it likely means one of three things:
 

1. The Haptek install web server is temporarily offline.
2. The version of the installer you are using is too old and is no longer online. In which case, download the latest version of the Haptek Player.
3. You are not connected to the Internet. All web deploy installations of the Haptek Player require an internet connection in order to download all the necessary files.



Haptek Player OCX has failed to Self-Register...

    This is a known bug that occurs on some older versions of Windows. We are in the process of fixing this.
